Winery owner and event organiser Natasha Nieuwhof said a good crowd began rolling in when the gates opened at 11am.

"We find that Easter is one of those times where people are catching up with family and friends, and there's always lots of tourists," she said.

The event had a stellar lineup of musicians providing entertainment at the event, including Cody Gunton, Dream Sister, and Paper Souls.

"They're very talented local artists and they bring a crowd with them as well," Ms Nieuwhof said.

Another highlight was the selection of food from Smallgrain, Burger Junkie, Casa Paella, Lol Kitchen, and Vineyard Seafood.

Ms Nieuwhof said they had been putting on the event for about eight or nine years.

"We started it because we love sharing our environment and we love music and we love enjoying good food and good wine and a place to catch up with family and friends. We thought we had the lovely landscape for it, and that's how it started," she said.

Ms Nieuwhof said each year they also collect a gold coin donation on the gate.

"Each time we run the event the donations we give to a local charity," she said.

"We put on the event for free and just ask for a donation, and those donations will this time go toward Foodbank Tasmania, so that they can continue to do their great work."

Foodbank is a not-for-profit organisation which supplies food to more than 200 Tasmanian welfare agencies and to 85 school breakfast programs.

It is the largest food relief organisation in Tasmania.

"It's a great way for us to be able to give back to the locals who support us throughout the year, and we're very thankful," Ms Nieuwhof said.
