Mitch perfect
Mitch O'Neill is the sole Tasmanian named in the Australian under-18 team to take on the VFL's Casey Demons in the annual AFL Commission Chairman's Cup at the MCG on Saturday.
North Hobart's Tasmanian Academy member was best on ground in the Tasmania Devils' inaugural NAB League victory against Northern Territory, racking up 35 disposals and nine inside 50s.
Last year the under-18 team defeated North Melbourne's VFL team by a resounding 42-points in a game which featured the top 10 players selected at the subsequent AFL draft including North Launceston's Tarryn Thomas (North Melbourne) and Launceston's Chayce Jones (Adelaide).
