Launceston ruck Hamish Leedham has enjoyed a strong start to 2019, polling in last round's win over North Hobart, but will face his biggest challenge yet in the form of multiple-flag big man Alex Lee.
Blues coach Mitch Thorp conceded Leedham had a huge job to do, but backed his vice-captain in to meet the challenge head-first.
"Alex is for mine the best ruckman in the competition and Hamish wants to be that, so it's a good opportunity for Hamish to make some inroads into being that player," Thorp said.
"It'll be pivotal in the game - both teams have strong midfields so the ruckman that gets on top obviously gives the midfield first supply so we're really keen to get on top in that area."
The Blues named an unchanged line-up after last week's win, and will relish the chance to play at home after a two-week absence.
Thorp said his side would pay due attention to the Bombers' gun midfielders, but would be primarily focused on executing their own system.
"North Launny have had a lot of change in their list over the last five years but have always played a high level of football and that's because their system is very strong.
"It's more about system v system than player v player, you see that at AFL level now and it's no different at TSL level - we need to make sure we're organised and have our structures flowing on the day."
