Pure Foods Eggs and Marjories are hosting host a brunch to raise money for the Save The Tasmanian Devil Program Appeal.
Besides eating delicious food, the event celebrates Pure Foods Eggs' $200,000 milestone, managing director Danny Jones said.
"The devil is an iconic native animal. Everybody is concerned about facial tumours," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Pure Foods has donated 20 cents for every dozen black devil egg pack sold (with 10 cents for six packs and 30 cents for 18 packs), since the partnership began in 2012.
University of Tasmania acting Associate Director for Fundraising Rebecca Cuthill, Pure Foods Eggs farm manager John Sattler and devil vaccine research team leader Dr Bruce Lyons will speak about the program and egg production.
Marjories executive chef Chris Williams has planned a feast including scrambled eggs, French toast and Scotch eggs with Scottsdale bacon and Cripps rolls.
