Cityprom has accepted the mission to come on board to help find the eggs and has made some prizes available.
Cityprom director Steve Henty said eight eggs had been lost in the CBD.
"To help, they can jump on the website to get the clues on where those eight eggs are, but people finding the eggs need to remember that they need to go into the stores because each of the eggs are numbered in randonm order," he said.
"The entry form has to have the number corresponding to the business to be eligible to win."
