Olivia Nettlefold took her two daughters and mother to town for some shopping and lunch as a school holiday treat.
They had lunch at Ellie May's Kitchen on York Street about 11am and then were going to do some shopping.
"We were just having a bit of morning tea or early lunch because they're both on school holidays, so we thought it'd be nice to take them to town for the morning," Ms Nettlefold said.

Ms Nettlefold walked across the road from the eatery when she realised she'd left her handbag on the back of her chair.
She rushed back but her bag with her brand new mobile phone, wallet, money for groceries and Easter presents, and house keys was gone.
"It leaves us really tight for the next fortnight. I'm not sure what I'll do for Easter now," Ms Nettlefold said.
"I feel so lost today. You've got to go and reclaim your identity and cancel all your cards."
Ms Nettlefold had to change the locks at her house because the thieves got her licence and house keys when they stole her handbag.
"They've also got my car key," she said.
"Once I realised it was gone I was just devastated and then I was angry."
Ms Nettlefold spent most of Monday cancelling and reordering her identification, bank and other personal cards.
She also visited the Benevolent Society to find out if she was eligible for any assistance.
Ms Nettlefold said the property that was stolen and the $200 cash in her wallet for groceries and Easter presents worked out to a total loss of $2500.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police on 131 444 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
