The hotel was destroyed by fire on May 15, 2018, replaced with a temporarily licensed "alpine kiosk".
Owners Allan and Megan Lourie said the decision not to rebuild the hostel had been made "after much consultation between ourselves and the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service".
"We thank [them] and Premier Will Hodgman for their assistance and willingness to discuss the many options and possible outcomes of "where to" after the fire," they said.
"We thank the people and businesses of Tasmania who supported us in our five years on Ben Lomond."
They said Parks and Wildlife "were exploring options for the upcoming season and will release information in due course".
