A trio of baby meerkats, born three weeks ago, have started adventuring out of their beds and into their enclosure, where they can be seen by lucky visitors.
The babies are the first born to mother meerkat Cersei - but she won't have to learn the ropes of child-rearing on her own.
Meerkats raise babies born within their highly social family groups together, teaching the young ones "how to be little meerkats," Tasmania Zoo owner Rochelle Penney said.
"The mum gives birth, but then the other meerkats all have different jobs," she said.
"If you come and see them, mum will be off doing something and the others will be carrying them around and guarding them - it's so cute."
Ms Penney said the best time to see the babies is after about 12.30pm, when the adults have been most likely to bring them out of their beds.
She is infatuated with the "gorgeous" little siblings - but there is one downside.
"They're such time-wasters," she said. "Because you just stand there and watch them all day."
