West Tamar Council to consider Landfill levy increase
The West Tamar Council will consider increasing its landfill levy at April's council meeting.

The suggested levy increase is in conjunction with boosting support for the Northern Tasmania Waste Management Group aimed at improving waste management.
The proposed increase would be from a $5 per tonne levy to $7.50 per tonne.
The levy increase is also aimed at encouraging waste reduction and recycling.
