The double-header with sprintcars and super sedans drew a large crowd to the North-West Coast that witnessed some amazing racing.
Cooper Wilson scored his maiden final win in the junior karts with a flag to flag victory despite being pressured by Kaylee Thomson and Jayden Jones. Brady Tyler won the seniors while James Dillon took victory in the 125s.
Kristian Kelly established a good lead in the Formula 500s final. A caution a third of the way into the 15-lap final brought the field back together when Matt Redpath lost a wheel.
Taylor Johnson pressured but Kelly was too strong and powered away. Jayce Breen finished third.
The Tassie sixes turned up the intensity knowing they have six months to repair their machinery.
Dwaine Sonners led out with a comfortable margin, however, the war of wheels that raged behind him was spectacular.
Mick Davey and Mark Bryant challenged each other until Bryant went infield with a fuel leak and Davey was then passed by Nathaniel McIllwain.
Peter Johnston, Paul Howard and Claire Johnston were all moving forward. Sonners took victory with Johnston second and McIlwain third.
Street stock racing saw Stephen Harvey follow up last week's victory with another fine win. Initially challenged by Dale Riley Jr, it was in traffic that Harvey pulled away. Riley Jr pulled in with mechanical problems as did Ben Riley who was challenging.
Harvey had to fend off a serious challenge from Corey Bauld, as they passed back marker Brodie Poole and contact sent Poole's car over. The race was declared, Harvey winning from Bauld and Corey Jeston.
Laura Davidson led the 20-lap super sedan race early until passed by Jason McPherson. She was passed by David Nichols late in the race to finish in third. McPherson established a commanding lead and had a comfortable winning margin.
The sprintcar race had plenty of drama with several spins. Jock Goodyer was challenged on several occasions yet maintained composure to win from a fast-finishing Tate Frost by just 0.2 of a second. Curt Smith finished third.
Junior new stars would see the pint-sized power house Stevie Smith first across the line chased hard by Lachlan Robins and Sharni Farrell.
The junior top stars had Lucas Dickenson lead the opening lap before a move from Jayden Triffett in turn one proved successful. Dickenson was able to match Triffett's car speed later in the race but couldn't close the gap. Stephanie Howard finished in third.
The new season begins in October.
