Preparations were well underway on Friday for the annual Launceston Brixhibition.
Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts president and Brixhibition coordinator Ken Draeger said there would be something for people of all ages at Albert Hall across the weekend.
"People should come along because there's always something new," he said.
"There's a combination of your old favorites and new things as well.
"We like having a bit of variety for everyone."
Mr Draeger said there would be 29 exhibits, with some highlights including a giant map of Tasmania, Lego letters, and Kinetics sculptures.
There will also be Lego trains, a Battlestar Galactica ship, and Star Wars items.
Thousands are expected to attend the event.
