Sounds on the Street saw 13 buskers attempt a ticket to stardom.
Performers took to the stage for two-and-a-half hours in a bid to secure a spot on the Junction Arts Festival program in September.
They were able to sing one song each in front of four judges. Valley Sounds co-founder Sarah Triffit, professional musician Ben McKinnon, Junction Arts Festival director Greg Clarke and Travis Hennessy were the judges and said a unique range and a very promising lot of performers were put in front of them.
Entrants also had the chance to win one of three Barratts Music vouchers valued at more than $700 and a free busking licence thanks to CityProm.
