The Sri Lanka under-19 national representative hit five centuries in his debut season - including a 47-ball 104 in the final - to finish with 1219 runs for the campaign.
The 20-year-old also hit 400 T20 runs at an average of 80, and took 24 wickets during the season at 15.96 to help the Chieftains to their maiden premier league flag.
Trevallyn batsman Clinton Reid won the batting average award in his first premier league season with 61.29, while Longford's star Sri Lankan Dilan Sandagirigoda finished the year with the incredible bowling average of 8.16.
Elsewhere, Bracknell skipper Cassie Walker took solace from her side's narrow grand final defeat by winning the women's MVP.
Walker also won the batting aggregate award, while Longford's Stacey Norton-Smith won both the batting and bowling average awards.
