The Northern Bombers and Lauderdale will compete in their maiden TSLW seasons this year, extending the fledgling competition to six teams after Burnie dropped out last November.
The two new sides will meet in their first fixture of the season on May 5, which will also double as the first match in a TSLW triple-header at UTAS Stadium.
Clifford will join 2017 TSLW flag winners Ebony Barrenger and Maggie Cuthbertson and former NTFAW high-fliers Hayley Breward and Emily McKinnell as some of the Northern Bombers' most experienced competitors.
"We've got a really young squad of players, which brings that element of enthusiasm," the former Launceston and George Town midfielder said.
"Because for a lot of them they haven't played in a State League match, it gives that air of excitement so they're really keen to get on the park, find out where they're at and what they need to do to improve.
"We've got three or four players that have had some TSLW experience, but other than that a lot of our players have either come through our junior program or from the regional clubs in the Launceston area.
"Our recruiting staff have done a power of work in securing and balancing both the youth and experience of our players, so we're really excited to give them the opportunity to see where they're at."
