Chelsea Freestone, 18, has been named World Teen Supermodel 2019, alongside her friend Liana House, 19, who was crowned runner-up in the teen division.
The women were among five Launceston models who competed at the World Supermodel Production in Fiji last week.
The week long competition included five runway shows and a visit to a local school, with Miss Freestone also winning Best Evening Gown in a dress designed by Launceston's own Timeless Elegance Bridal.

Surprised by her success, the University of Tasmania nursing student said it felt amazing to be recognised on on the world stage.
"I definitely wasn't expecting to win, but I worked really hard so I am glad the hard work paid off," Miss Freestone said.
"It was all just a big shock really, when my name was called.
"I just love being able to model such beautiful clothes as well as being able to meet so many interesting people."
Launceston models Sorayah Woods, Lauren Doyle and Olivia Willis also competed in the event, with Miss Woods making the top 12 in the senior division.
Following the Tasmanian state finals in May, the models are now preparing for the National Miss Teen Finals, which will be held in Launceston from July 7 to 9 - a first for the state.
