A handy contributor to the Tornadoes side that made the SEABL final last season, the 18-year-old signed for premiership fancy South Launceston in the pre-season and has played both the Bulldogs' games to date.
Brazendale is expecting her toughest test yet in Saturday's away trip to NTFAW newcomer Bridgenorth, but has enjoyed her opening two matches enough to reconsider her sporting pathway.
"I love it, it was so good - I think it's almost better than basketball but I haven't decided yet," Brazendale said.
"I wasn't playing Torns this year so I thought I'd give it a go when Patto [Lisa Patterson] who's the Torns assistant coach approached me and said 'you should come up to a training'.
"I'm still playing basketball at the moment, I'm playing down in Devonport and in the Launceston league, but I'm unsure if I'm going to play basketball next year if footy keeps going like this - I could just take up footy."
Having had her first taste of football in a rainy win under lights against Scottsdale, the ruck-forward hit the scoresheet for the first time in last weekend's big win over George Town.
Wearing 83 - the highest number registered in the competition this year - the former Newstead College student wasn't immediately convinced of the goal's legitimacy.
"I didn't even think it counted because I soccer kicked it off the ground," Brazendale said.
"Then everyone started running up to me saying 'you scored the goal' and I was like 'oh, it counted'."
All three of the NTFAW's new teams have tasted victory in the first two rounds, with Bridgenorth winning its round one clash with Old Scotch, the Thistles downing Meander Valley in round two and Old Launcestonians taking a thrilling one-point win over Scottsdale.
Saturday's clash between South and Bridgenorth begins at 4.10pm, immediately after the 1.40pm premier division clash between the same teams.
All funds raised on the day will go to neo-natal care units in Launceston and Hobart.
