In a battle of top versus bottom at St Brendan Shaw College, the Hawks were always favoured, and showed why with a 30-11 opening quarter that saw them capitalise on Devon's turnovers through the accurate shooting Ashlea Mawer.
The home side began the second quarter better, but once the visitors ramped up their all-court defence, the margin started to increase again thanks to perfect 18-18 from Mawer and ended with the score reading 54-25.
The Hawks showed no let-up in the second half either, pushing past the century mark as Danielle Pickett (34 from 38) replaced Mawer (46 from 49) in the final third.
The win came at a cost though, with wing attack Clare McKimmie helped off with a knee injury in the last quarter.
It was a winning double for the Hawks on the night, with their under 19s defeating Devon 57-40.
