The Launceston brewery has crafted a limited release of the much-loved Boag's St George ale line.
The beer was discontinued in 2011 due to poor sales.
Lion managing director James Brindley said the Boag's team wanted to bring the beer back after many advocated for its return.
"It is our hope that loyal St George fans will welcome the beer back with open arms and spread the word to other beer lovers who may not have had the opportunity to try it in the past," Mr Brindley.

The Facebook page 'Bring Back Boags St George', a group comprising of dedicated Boag's fans, was one such advocate for the return of the beer.
"The way people speak about St George proves it holds a very special place in the history of James Boag," Mr Brindley said.
"It's by far the most requested beer Tasmanian drinkers want to see brought back."
Boag's St George will be available at a selection of bottle shops including Nine Elevens, Thirsty Camels, Big Bargains and Cellarbrations as well as selected pubs and bars.
