A third woman has been charged in relation to an alleged aggravated armed robbery of a 76-year-old man at Fingal in the early hours of Tuesday.

The 24-year-old woman from East Devonport appeared in the Launceston Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning charged with aggravated armed robbery, two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of stealing.

Two Rocherlea women, aged 29 and 30, have also appeared in court in relation to the matter.
The alleged robbery occurred at a residence on Talbot Street, Fingal, about 12.10am on Tuesday.
The victim was taken to St Marys Community Health Centre with smashed teeth and lacerations to his head.
