The Australian Education Union Tasmania branch has joined other public service unions to escalate further industrial action over wages and conditions.
A list of schools was published on the Education Department's website last week. However, it was hoped the industrial action would be called off, when the government put a last-minute offer to the unions on Friday.
It was rejected by teachers on Sunday, with the action scheduled across the state on April 2-4. Strikes are being held in the North-West on Tuesday, in the North on Wednesday and in Hobart on Thursday.
