Take just one of the stories that will play out on the big screen in the national park this weekend.
In ICEolation, viewers get a rare window into one of the last few untouched wilderness' on earth. They will follow adventurers Sophie Ballagh and Ewan Blyth on their two-week, self-supported sea kayaking journey along the Antarctic Peninsula - described in the film's synopsis as "an opening to explore as much within themselves as discovering the magical, ice-choked waterways".
Film festival-goers will have the opportunity to do their own exploration in our very own untouched wilderness: Cradle Mountain National Park. The most intriguing event is the film trail, which involves hiking to remote mountain huts for a series of special adventure film screenings.

Ten Days on the Island is officially over, but they've decided to bless us all with an extra weekend of arts and culture.
The free, recently-announced Weekend in the Valley will bring highlights of the three-week program to the Huon Valley, in an attempt to assist their post-bushfire economic recovery.
