Morehouse saved Launceston from humiliation in their batting innings, scoring 32 as the Lions made a competitive 148.
The 18-year-old plumbing apprentice then tore apart the Shamrocks' batting lineup with figures of 5-33 off his 17 overs, dismissing Westbury for 121.
"Patty was pivotal in our bowling innings with his third five-wicket haul in three weeks. Him and Tommy McIntee also putting on 30 for the last wicket changed the game," Launceston captain Lawrence Dodson said.
Westbury won the toss and sent the Lions in, with Launceston getting off to a reasonable start before quick wickets left them reeling at 7-62.
Launceston's tail dug in however with Nick Haydon, Morehouse, Matthew Woods and McIntee all putting in efforts that pleased Dodson.
Westbury's James Baker and Greater Northern Raiders representative Alex Kerrison both ended up with three wickets as the game sat in the balance.
An early Morehouse wicket set the tone as Launceston's bowlers went about defending their total. Regular wickets to Tom McShane and Morehouse had Westbury in trouble at 5-54 with Liam Ryan and Joel Lloyd at the crease.
As Ryan was dismissed for 22, Kerrison joined Lloyd at the crease and Launceston were able to clean up the tail and secure the premiership, Lloyd top scoring with 23 off 51 balls.
The match continued until about 4pm, the first innings win a foregone conclusion as Launceston finished their second innings at 4-111, Ethan Conway top scoring with 62.
