She is early favourite after a brilliant win in her semi-final last week.
Stepping well from box 8, the daughter of Barcia Bale and Miss Hetti sat second behind Stylish Paddy down the back straight before finding the front around the home turn and kicking clear to score by 7-1/2 lengths in 30.12.
Trained by Wynyard-based Ben Englund, the black bitch was the quickest of the three semi-final winners. Highland Vintage (David Crosswell) scored in 30.23 and Flash Comet (Ricky Martin) in 30.57.
Englund was pleased with Wynburn Lily's performance.
"Lily is a nice chaser - she is still young and learning her trade," Englund said.
"She is a strong bitch and although box 8 wasn't the greatest draw around Launceston, she did enough at the start to get a good cart across and sit close up on the leader through the first turn which is where she needed to be."
Englund said that Wynburn Lily had been at the bottom of the pecking order early days but had grown with age and experience.
"She has started to put it together finally and I think the further they go in distance the better it will suit which is something to work on."
Owned by the Wynburn Racing Syndicate headed by distinguished North West Coast breeder Tom Englund, Wynburn Lily will have to overcome box 4 in the $5050 final.
The Englund family will be out to claim a third Launceston Breeders Classic in four years, having scored with Wynburn Toozie in 2016 and Wynburn Rush in 2014.
