Several Tasmanian swimmers grabbed the last chance to record qualifying times for upcoming national age championships over the weekend.

The Southern regional long-course championships were held in Hobart on Saturday with the Northern equivalent on Sunday.
About 120 swimmers from the North and North-West were competing at Launceston Aquatic Centre.
Among the winners were four South Esk youngsters who claimed their relay race at their first major event.
"We're all pretty happy but it's just a lot of fun," said Olivia Hinds. She teamed up with Lily Round, Abbie King and Tilly Johnston who added: "It feels good to be part of a team with your friends."
Swimming Tasmania announcer Michelle Parks said: "As always, the performance of the swimmers has been outstanding and there's been a really strong sense of community and sportsmanship."
Swimming Tasmania chief executive Jamie McIntyre said a state team for the Australian age championships to be held in Adelaide from April 15 to 22 should be announced later this week.
