Encore presents Strictly Ballroom at Princess Theatre
Tarrant Edwards and Charlotte Page lead this musical production of the Baz Luhrmann classic, that follows ballroom prodigy Scott Hastings and ugly ducking Fran - "just Fran" - as they battle to be themselves against the strict rules of the Australian Federation in the lead up to the Pan-Pacific Grand Prix Dancing Championship. This is a show full of glitz and glamour, flashy musical numbers, jaw-dropping dance moves, plenty of laughs and plenty of heart - our reviewer gave it five stars. Playing Wednesday - Sunday until March 30, see theatrenorth.com.au/strictly-ballroom-the-musical for tickets, $55 - $79.
