The competition was a joint venture between the Meander Valley Council and the Launceston Arts Society.
Community development manager at the Meander Valley Council Patrick Gambles said the exhibition showcased works of talented artists from across the region.
"It's an exhibition that celebrates and focuses on the Meander Valley area, the places, the people, the majesty if you like of the valley," he said.
"The aim is to inspire skills and confidence and friendship through art."

The 27 entrants created works of art along the theme 'out of the blue'.
Mr Gambles added that the exhibition was a boost for emerging artists who had their works displayed alongside those of more experienced creatives.
Keith Lane of Reedy Marsh took first place with his acrylic piece Through the Trees.
The pieces will be on display at Deloraine Creative Studios until March 31.
