The festival is centred around Youth Week Tasmania and includes a number of youth-oriented activities.
Festival coordinator Andrew Beeston said that accessibility to youth services in the Beaconsfield area can be difficult.
"By bringing the youth services and fun experiences to the town, we are removing the accessibility challenge that they continually face," Mr Beeston said.
The free day includes youth music performances courtesy of Rock Challenge and jazz group The Fergusons.

As well as a youth skateboard and scooter competition, the day will host an art competition, in which any young person from the West Tamar community can enrol their art.
"There will be groups of young people venturing on buses from YMCA, Migrant Resource Centre, Capstone College and other youth services in the northern region," Mr Beeston said.
"We are finding that this event is becoming a centrepiece event for Youth Week in the North, despite being located 40 minutes out of Launceston."
West Tamar Council mayor Christina Holmdahl said that the festival's growth each successive year is a testament to the hard work of West Tamar's youth development officers and Youth Advisory Council.
"The focus was primarily to get the youth of this municipality to get together and celebrate the sort of things that young people like to do," Cr Holmdahl said.
"We certainly explore every avenue that's available to ensure that we are connecting with our young people."
"We haven't set ourselves up as the arbiters of telling young people what they should do, their views are very important to us."
