Cricket North won the toss and elected to bat and able able to establish partnerships early in the innings.
Openers Caitlyn Webster (28) and Ianthe Boden (42) got the innings moving with a 73-run opening stand and Dana Lester (42 not out) was the rock through the remainder of the innings.
Middle order contributions from Rhianne Hack (10), Belinda Wegman (16) and Victoria Geale (14) pushed up the Cricket North score to 8-171 from their 40 overs.
Ulverstone's Shakrya Oliver (2-17), Devonport's Martina Steven (2-25) and Latrobe's Joanne Ellis (2-32) were the best of the Cricket North West bowlers.
Needing a solid start to their run chase to give themselves a chance, Cricket North West were reduced to 5-58 and with key batters Steven, Tayla Wigg, Kate Chaplin, Madeline Clarke and Hayley Marshall dismissed, they were unable to recover.
Only Clarke (19), Georgia Foote (12) and Chaplin (10) could manage double figures and the Cricket north West side were dismissed of 94 in 30.1 overs.
Chelsea Ryan with 3-20 from her eight overs and Hack with 3-17 from her eight overs were in sublime form with the ball for Cricket North and Lisa Battle chimed in with the new ball with 2-23 from six overs.
