Josh Walker-Davis just got the better of Gene Ayton to win by two while Josh Appleyard won by eight against Candice Hodgetts and Dan Hollingsworth was able to get a three-shot win over Bec Van Asch.
East Launceston travelled to North Launceston and was able to keep their hopes of a top-two finish alive with a two-rink overall win.
Aaron Page only dropped six ends to Alan Gamble to win 29-14.
Gamble was able to pick up two fours in the last half but it wasn't enough to overcome East's run home as they scored 11 in the last five ends.
David Minns started off strong against Sam Springer, with scores locked at 14-all after 15 ends.
However with a strong performance by Courtney Hobbs and Sam Springer, the East rink was able to outscore their opposition 20 shots to four over the last 10 ends, finishing the day with a comfortable 16-shot rink win.
Will Springer looked as though he would make it a clean sweep for East, leading by 10 shots with six ends to play, but Jarrod Howard was too good in the home stretch.
Howard scored 13 shots to two over the last six ends to win by a solitary shot.
Round four was the last time a team outside of The Big Four clubs held a position in the top four on the ladder, a point only strengthening the case for a shake up of Premier League next season.
North Launceston has spent seven weeks this season at the top of the table, however if they don't get at least two points next week they may end the season in fourth.
It all comes down to the next two weekends, with The Big Four offering a potential finals preview this coming Saturday when East Launceston hosts Longford and Trevallyn hosts North Launceston.
If both home clubs win then it will be Trevallyn and East who secure a second chance, but as is always the case when these clubs take each other on, anything can happen.
One thing is for sure though it will be an action-packed finals series starting on Sunday at Kings Meadows Bowls Club, with each club out to prove they are the best of the best.
