Licensee Ben McKenzie said that this was the highlight of the year for the Celtic-flavoured pub.
"Staff perfect the practice of Guinness-pouring all year round so they can pour the perfect pint," he said.
"It's all about people coming together to celebrate Irish culture and traditions."
The pub will be open all day from 6am for traditional Irish breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with live entertainment until late in the evening.
"Everyone knows the Irish are famous for having a good time," Mr McKenzie said.
"Lots of people come in to enjoy a Guinness and they only ever drink it on this day of the year - it's a tradition."
