
Hartshorn Distillery's Sheep Whey Unfiltered Vodka won Best Varietal Vodka of Australia for the third year running at the World Vodka Awards 2019 in London.
This vodka also won World’s Best Vodka at the World Vodka Awards 2018 and Australian Beverage of the Year at the Food and Beverage Industry Awards in 2017.

Hartshorn Distillery is the only known still in the world to craft spirits from sheep whey, making use of the cheesemaking byproduct from cousin company Grandvewe Cheeses, director and head distiller Ryan Hartshorn said.
The official tasting note from the World Vodka Awards judges said that the vodka had 'sake-like apple notes, pear and floral blossoms. Lots of fresh and vibrant flavours. Palate has a vodka obvious character. Very nice'," he said.
Hartshorn Distillery also produces American-oaked sheep whey vodka, sheep whey gin and vanilla whey liqueur at Birchs Bay in the state's South.
