Businessman and entrepreneur Nick Haddow has been selected as the inaugural chairman of Brand Tasmania.

The founder Bruny Island Cheese Co, Mr Haddow previously served on the board of the Brand Tasmania council and is currently on the Wine Tasmania board.
Australia's first statutory ‘place’ branding authority, Brand Tasmania is expected to commence operations later this month.
Premier Will Hodgman said he looked forward to working with Mr Haddow, with further announcements on Brand Tasmania board positions expected soon.
"As a passionate Tasmanian, Nick spends much of his time promoting the state and supporting, showcasing and mentoring many other producers and agri-food businesses," Mr Hodgman said.
"This is an exciting, world leading, initiative for Tasmania and I look forward to working with Nick and the rest of Brand Tasmania team on promoting our state to the world."
