Up bright and early, I was invited to be the guest speaker and MC for the Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise's International Women's Day breakfast.
On stage, I was joined by Dr Aunty Patsy and Dr Rebecca Carey. Both women were inspiring and offered a poignant insight into the success and challenges of being a woman in the past, present and future.
That same afternoon I was lucky to join a group of subscribers on a tour of The Examiner's print centre.
Thanks to the expert guidance of manager Shane Brooks and production manager Leo Duncan, the group was able to see the Domain guide put together and the Australian Financial Review magazine printed.
Both Shane and Leo said they are always happy to conduct tours. Please email mail@examiner.com.au if your service club or school would like a tour in the future.
