Visitors will start Monday at 9am by picking the early March hop flower bloom, before celebrating with brewery-raised lamb from the spit and a few beverages for lunch.
Van Diemen owner and brewer Will Tatchell said the day is perfect whether you are a beer lover or if you want to learn more about brewing.
"It's an unbelievable opportunity to learn where beer comes from, where it begins and how we utilise an agricultural product to create an incredible result in beer," he said.
"This is a once in a year opportunity for beer lovers to experience this hands-on approach to brewing."
Last year's harvest record of 350kgs of fresh hop cones were picked, with season predicted to yield the same result.
Hops harvested will go to making the Wet Hop Beer which will be served at April's Fresh Hop Festival as well as Van Diemen's award-winning Estate Ale series which is produced with onsite ingredients.
"What we're doing here is not groundbreaking," Mr Tatchell said.
"This is how breweries functioned and operated in Europe for hundreds of years they grew their own barley too."
