Mr Stevenson's Carz for Kidz event gives children the opportunity to go for a ride in muscle cars and hot rods.
"A lot of these kids, they don't go to car shows and do the things the others do," he said.
"This gives them the opportunity to get one up on their counterparts. They don't just see the car, they go for a ride in it."
He said there are a lot of amazing moments that take place on the day.
"There are lots of little special things that happen to people in different cars," he said.
"Some of the drivers come back and say, 'you'll never guess what happened'.
"I've had mums come up in tears of joy, saying they've never seen their child like that. It's just so special."
The free event will feature face painting, a sausage sizzle, coffee van, and ice cream.
He said the event heavily relied upon those who bring their cars and donate their time, and the National Automobile Museum.
