Needing to win to leapfrog Beauty Point, the Durhams made 8-186 at Uni Oval after Donald Howarth (46) and Josh Allen (39*) did the heavy lifting.

Two early run-outs had the Bluebacks 2-28 but Chathura Athukorala (37) and Shaun Woods (39) steadied the ship with a 90-run stand. 

Allen impressed with 3-32 but the hosts made it home with four overs and three wickets to spare.

HADSPEN became the first outfit to beat Longford in a 40-over match this season as Thanuka Dabare starred in a five-wicket win.

TREVALLYN cemented second spot with an easy 137-run win over Beauty Point.

Top three Daniel Kirk, Clinton Reid and James Whiteley all made 50s in 4-227 with Chris Hay (2-37) the Point's only multiple wicket-taker.

Kyle Strochnetter (3-28) then did the damage as the run chase ended in 25 overs. 

PERTH secured its fifth win of the season thanks to the bowling heroics of John Hayes. 

The Demons posted 9-207 thanks to a collection of 30-odds to Keelan Beattie, Matt Lawrence and Matthew Waller before Hayes (4-23) set to work on Cressy's best batsmen.

The all-rounder picked up Damian Whybrow, Danny Bennett and top-scorer Mark Cooper (49) as the hosts took a 74-run win.
