The state government has advertised tenders for the development projects, including:
- Mowbray Heights Primary School: kindergarten refurbishment including additional toilets.
- Port Dalrymple School: redevelopment to provide additional general learning area, breakout space, resource and staff area and amenities.
- Taroona High School: major redevelopment to provide new contemporary learning areas, support spaces and music and drama facilities.
Education and Training Minister Jeremy Rockliff said the projects were part of the state government's commitment to ensuring student access to contemporary and flexible facilities.
"A total of $96 million is being invested across the forward estimates in capital works which includes new schools, school upgrades, new Early Learning Hubs and school farm redevelopments," he said.
"These projects are a part of our commitment to ensure students have access to where they have the greatest opportunity to explore their passions and discover a path to their future career."
