The gun all-rounder skippered Tasmania at this week's national championships, knocking 137 runs at 22.83 in six matches and taking seven wickets at 35.14.
On Friday he was named alongside Kingborough's Sam Voss in the CA XI's 20-man squad, which will be whittled down to 13 following a training camp in Queensland in July.
The team will then compete in the under-17 national championships next summer.
Anthes, who made his A-grade debut for the Blues in October, is also expected to debut for the Greater Northern Raiders this weekend following impressive performances in Cricket North.
The 15-year-old has taken 16 wickets in 11 games to sit seventh in the Cricket North bowling rankings with one game to play, and made his top score of 40 against Launceston last month.
