Scolyer’s time of 12.49 second in her under 14 girl’s 100m victory was enough to capture the Tasmanian under-14 girls 100m record and her leap of 5.09m was enough to claim the Tasmanian under 13-girls’ record.
Northern Tasmanian athletes were able to hold their own at the event.
Amie Broad was dominant with wins in the under-16 girls 100m, 200m and 400m.
Abbie Butler (under 16 girls’ 2000m steeplechase and 1500m) and Isabella Foster (under 20 womens’ long jump and triple jump) claimed two titles each.
Madison Brazendale, Jessica Taylor, Shae Nichols, Ben McShane, Jack Nichols, Bryce Lawes, Will Bottle and Toby Kamphuis also collected state titles.
