The theme for this year is Out of the Blue.
The exhibition will be open for public viewing from March 2 to 31 at Deloraine Creative Studios.
Entries are open until February 1 and must be accompanied by an artist’s statement of no more than 25 words identifying the work’s relationship to Meander Valley and the theme.
The major prize is $1000.
Last year, the theme “Moving Mountains” attracted eclectic entries including winner Three Tiers by Pauline Winwood.
Darren Meader’s piece Movement and Decay on Quamby Bluff won the highly commended award.
The awards are run by Meander Valley Council and the Launceston Art Society.
