Josef Chromy Wines took out the trophies for best riesling for the winery’s 2017 vintage, and was awarded the most successful exhibitor trophy.
Apogee’s Pirie Method won the best vintage sparkling trophy for its 2012 vintage.

They were among the 20 total trophies awarded during the show in Hobart that concluded on Friday.
The show featured 83 exhibitors and 450 wines, culminating in a “very high” strike rate of medals.
Tasmania is expected to treble its wine production from 2013 to 2020, when the state is targeted to produce 1.5 million cases.
Wine exports brought in almost $4.5 million in sales in 2017/18.
Primary Industries Minister Guy Barnett said growth in the Tasmanian wine industry would be driven by both exports and targeting visitor markets.
