The event will take place at the Memorial Park and at Portland Hall at St Helens from 5pm.
The event will include a night market, the official ceremony, live music, and food and drink.
On Australia Day, the St Helens foreshore will come alive with Wheels, Wine and Dine from 10am.
The event will feature vintage cars, rides, rockabilly music and dancing, and fireworks.
