Chasing 7-180, Trevallyn were cruising at 0-112 in the 24rd over as captain James Whiteley (60) brought up his third half-century of the season.

But he and fellow opener Ronnie Mathew fell in the space of four balls, sparking a collapse of 9-48 as Danny Bennett and Luke Pritchard snagged three wickets each.

Still needing 21 to win, Zachary Tatnell and no. 11 David Love showed no fear - the former hitting Mark Cooper (54) for six to bring victory in sight and the latter creaming a four soon after to ice the game with an over to spare.

Tatnell’s 29 not out was his highest premier league score to date.

PERTH jumped back into the top four with a 41-run win over Legana.
