Chasing 7-180, Trevallyn were cruising at 0-112 in the 24rd over as captain James Whiteley (60) brought up his third half-century of the season.
But he and fellow opener Ronnie Mathew fell in the space of four balls, sparking a collapse of 9-48 as Danny Bennett and Luke Pritchard snagged three wickets each.
Still needing 21 to win, Zachary Tatnell and no. 11 David Love showed no fear - the former hitting Mark Cooper (54) for six to bring victory in sight and the latter creaming a four soon after to ice the game with an over to spare.
Tatnell’s 29 not out was his highest premier league score to date.
PERTH jumped back into the top four with a 41-run win over Legana.
The Demons’ 8-240 was set up by a breathtaking 49-ball 90 from Matthew Lawrence, which included five sixes and seven fours.
Aaron Dusautoy was one of Legana’s best taking 2-30 off eight and scoring 18 not out at no. 11, while Matthew Rigby took 3-46 for Perth.
ACL did well to restrict Longford to 8-166 before falling to a 110-run defeat.
The Country Tigers stumbled to 7-94 before captain-coach Josh Adams (58) and Jesse Arnol (28 not out) revived the innings with a 58-run stand.
Brad Solly and John Kedey took a combined 4-33 off 16 overs for the Bluebacks, whose runs chase ended inside 20 overs as Adam Smith and Max Magann (three wickets each) ensured Chathura Athukorala was the sole batsman to make double figures.
In the final game of the round, HADSPEN took an 87-run win at Beauty Point to keep hold of second spot.
The Chieftains knocked 8-266 in their 40 overs before bowling the Tamar Valley Tigers out for 179 in 34 overs.
