Tasmania Police is seeking information from the public in relation to two burglaries in Northern Tasmania.

Three firearms were stolen from a home at Swansea, on the East Coast, on Friday.
At the time of the incident there was no one at home at the property. The firearms were stored correctly and have since been recovered by police.
Two people are in custody over the incident and both people are assisting police with their inquiries. No charges have been laid so far.

In an unrelated incident, police detectives are also searching for information relating to a burglary at George Town on January 7.
Two men, aged 39 and 24 years, were charged in relation to the incident and will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at a later date.
Police are seeking information from the public who might have information relating to packets of cigarettes being sold cheaply in the area.
