Bridport CWA is celebrating an $197,000 Tasmanian Community Fund grant with a family-friendly event at the Village Green on Saturday, January 12.

Called Making a Village, it will include live entertainment, a huge car boot sale, Lions food van and merry go round, kite flying and market stalls, with cars scheduled to arrive from between 7 and 7.30am.
Bridport Textile Group will also have their annual Quilt and Craft Show for the weekend with 30 quilts and demonstrations, trade tables, and crafts.
At the CWA Hall will be the Brushstrokes Art Display, with demonstrations from John Gibb and Faye Ralph, along with the Moby Dick plasma work from artist Moby Flame and Plasma.
