Is your club ready for the ultimate challenge?
The Tasmanian Turf Club will host an Ultimate Sporting Club Challenge on January 30.
Sports clubs of all codes are encouraged to sign up for the free competition, which comprises of a number of skills challenges.
Tasmanian Turf Club chief executive Peter Scott said the event was a good way to have a social night for clubs participating.
“These activities are skill-based, it’s not all strength-based,” Mr Scott said.
“We can mix the teams and have a bit of fun with it.
“Any sports club can get involved.”
Competitions include a handball competition, a basketball shootout and cricket stump throw down.
Northern Hawks netball player Jamie Symons said the team was keen to take a break from court work to practice other skills.
“We’ll be a force to be reckoned with hopefully,” Ms Symons said.
Winners of the competition will receive $500 in prize money, a trophy and club photo as well as a picnic car space and four tickets to the Launceston Cup in February.
