Two men have been injured and one man has been charged after an alleged stabbing at Smith Street in Devonport on Saturday December 29.

A police spokesperson said police had charged a 19-year-old Sheffield man with wounding after the incident occurred on Saturday night.
“Around 8.30pm an altercation occurred at a property on Smith Street between several men known to each other,” the spokesperson said.
“Two men aged in their forties required medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries sustained during the incident, one being a stab wound allegedly from a small knife.”
The spokesperson said the charged man would appear at the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.
