A man used a syringe as a weapon and demanded medication from a Hobart pharmacy on Saturday afternoon.

The man, who is still on the run, left with a “quantity” of prescription medication, Tasmania Police said.
The incident occurred at the Discount Pharmacy on Davey Street about 5pm.
Police said the man was last seen travelling in a westerly direction on Davey Street.
The man is described as being about 180 centimetres tall, aged in his 30s, medium build and a blonde moustache. The moustache could possibly be a beard.
He was wearing a black hoodie, black gloves and black sunglasses.
No one was injured during the incident.
