Weeks of hard work for aspiring migrants paid off as they graduated from the Jobs for Migrants in Aged Care and Disability program on Wednesday.

The program is organised through the Migrant Resource Centre, it aims to get migrants employed in the community through working with StGiles and Masonic Care.
Laella Abdalla, from Sudan, said the graduation day was a very special day for her.
“I’m so glad and happy beacause I have this certificate,” she said.
“This is my first certificate in Australia, I’m looking forward to finding a job.”
People from around the world undertook the program, including nations such as Bhutan, Sudan, Myanmar and Eritrea.
All those in the program were excited and thankful to take a big step in gaining employment in Launceston.
