A 20-year-old Norwood woman had her license disqualified after allegedly being caught high range drink driving.

Members of the community reported the woman to Tasmania Police after she was spotted driving in the Norwood area on Saturday night.
Police will allege the P-Plate driver had a breath alcohol reading of .216 after police caught her behind the wheel about 10.30pm.
As a result of the reading, the woman was immediately disqualified from driving for 12 months and was bailed to appear in court early next year.
Investigating officer Constable Tom Summers said it was disappointing the message on drink driving did not appear to be getting through to some drivers.
“This is a timely reminder in the lead up to Christmas that drink driving forms one of the fatal five contributors to road deaths and Tasmania Police will be out in force to apprehend those committing offences that put themselves and other road users in danger,” he said.
“Tasmania Police would like to thank members of the public who alerted them to the woman’s driving.”
